An Italian World Cup Champion and surprise surprise, a midfielder to replace Cesc Fabregas are today’s players linked with a possible move to Arsenal.
According to Italian website Ansa (in Italian), Daniele De Rossi’s future could be away from AS Roma and, yes you guessed right, he could be the one to replace Cesc Fabregas in the Arsenal midfield. Apparently, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested in the hot headed 28-year old who won the World Cup, in Germany, with Italy, in 2006.
In other news, The Sun reported on Saturday that Villarreal’s attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla will be one to consider if he lose captain Cesc Fabregas. It seems the Spaniards are ready to let the midfielder go for £20m with the Gunners only prepared to go up to £17m.
Having taken two days off since the Gunners were in action, we can today take a look at last Friday’s poll in which we collected more than 2,300 votes. According to our readers, Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder would be nice to have in midfield and high votes for Everton’s Phil Jagielka as well.
As always, please let us know your preference on today’s linked players and don’t be shy to join the discussion in our newly-launched Arsenal forum.
