Nasri’s not a rebel, he’s a traitor!

I must admit I am shocked at Samir Nasri’s behaviour. He has only been at Arsenal for three years but Arsene Wenger tried hard to bring him to the Emirates despite his ongoing injury problems at the time. I felt that Wenger had gone out on a limb to get him, but our manager’s judgement was again proved right and Nasri was a star in the making.
So for Nasri to refuse to negotiate a new contract (while everyone else was signing extensions) smacked of an ungratefulness perhaps a little too common in football nowadays.
Nasri has turned into a greedy money-grabbing mercenary, and to refuse a contract that pays you £90,000 A BLOODY WEEK as not enough for a pouting Prima Donna, and then admit to the world that he would consider a move to the Manc Scum if they offered him more money, is just downright despicable and a smack in the face to both Wenger and the Arsenal fans.
In case you haven’t yet read his comments here they are, (as translated by the Guardian) from Telefoot: “Let’s find out if their interest is true first, and then we’ll talk about it,” he said.
“I don’t know if I will sign a new contract. Anyway, the discussions are on-going. For the moment, I don’t want to think about this. We will speak about it after the match with Poland on Tuesday. Do I want to go to United? We should see if their interest is real and if it is concrete first.”
As far as I am concerned Wenger should immediately cancel all talks with the weasel, and immediately put him on the market to the highest bidder, just like he did with the last money-grabbing @rsehole @debayor.
I hope he ends up like Hleb getting slated by Birmingham fans and begging to come back to Arsenal…..
