Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has claimed that he would like to return to FC Copenhagen one day.

In an interview with sporten.dk, the Danish forward admitted he wants to fulfill his boyhood dream and play for the recently-crowned Champions.

Bendtner left FC Copenhagen's feeder team Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and came to Arsenal at just 16 years of age.

"I have a dream of playing for FCK. If I one day return home to play football in Denmark, I'll go to the lions.

"I've always wanted to play for FC Copenhagen - ever since I was a child. But I switched away from the club to Arsenal as a 16-year-old and have never yet tried it. FC is my club - no doubt about it"

His time at Arsenal is coming to an end and it seems that Denmark could be his next stop.
