Arsenal should bid for Drogba

Didier Drogba has been made available for transfer by Chelsea this summer and Arsene Wenger is on the look out for a new striker as he looks out to bolster his attacking options with the departure of Nicklas Bendtner imminent.
I know some will say that Wenger will never sign a 33-year old, but did Arsene not say himself that there will be a summer of change in transfer policy this season?
The man is built like a rock, knows the Premiership inside out and has at least a good season left in him.
And before you throw in the "style of play" argument, remember that Wenger did bid for him many years ago when he was still at Marseilles. In the end, Chelsea (fresh from being taken over by Abrahamovic) made a huge bid that Arsenal could not match.
Wenger's likelier targets would remain Gervinho or French striker Kevin Gameiro. But both come from the French league and would need at least a year to fully adjust to the physcial demands of English football. Just look at Chamakh who was regularly the best striker in French football before he joined us.
Drogba has been there and done that. His raw physical aggression strikes fear in Premiership defenders and he will be such an improvement on Bendtner. And besides many title winning sides in the past have always gone for the extra experienced option up front (like Larsson or Sheringham at United or one Dennis Berkamp largely contributing in 2004 despite being 34...)
