A left-back that is so-much needed for the Gunners and a 19-year old Swedish centre back are today’s names linked with a possible move to Arsenal.

To start with, if you haven’t checked it out yet, do watch Lee Dixon’s interview in which he answers a number of questions made by our team, he discusses the future of Arsene Wenger, the future of Andrey Arshavin as well as – incidentally – the left-back position that will most likely be left vacant by Gael Clichy.

On to the rumours. According to the always up-to-date Metro, Arsenal are ready to make a £10m offer for Everton’s 26-year old left-back Leighton Baines. Of course, a left-back is a must if Gael Clichy leaves during the summer as Kieran Gibbs is yet to demonstrate that he can be a solid defender.

In other news, The Sun reports that the Gunners “are heading the chase for £3.5million-rated Swedish teenager Alexander Milosevic.”. Jens Anderson of AIK Solna confessed that several English Premier League clubs are interested in the youngster with Tottenham, Liverpool and Sunderland all reportedly interested.
