Who's in and who's out in Arsenal's great summer shake up? Find out here

Arsene Wenger has drawn up a short list of targets for his red revolution.

KARIM BENZEMA is out of favour with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. The French striker has long been admired by Wenger and he would relish the chance to add him to his front line.

STUART DOWNING is one half of the Aston Villa wing duo with Ashley Young. He has failed to agree an extension to his contract at Villa Park and has spoken of his ambition to play Champions League football. Villa would want around £15million.

PHIL JONES is rated as one of the most accomplished young England centre-backs. He is a regular in the Blackburn team and can also play in midfield. Both Liverpool and Manchester United are also keen on Jones.

CHRISTOPHER SAMBA is a club colleague of Jones. He has always impressed against Arsenal. He is a real powerhouse of a central defender and would add the physical presence that Arsenal have lacked.

SCOTT PARKER is set to leave relegated West Ham this summer. The Hammers want £8.5m for the Footballer of the Year and he would add his combative nature and energy to the Arsenal midfield.

MAMADOU SAKHO is already in the France national squad at the age of 21. He is also captain of his club Paris St.Germain. He has been watched by a whole string of English clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham.

But the strong French connection at Arsenal make them favourites if they will meet the £10 million asking price.

Wenger is already planning to ‘make room’ in his first team at the Emirates – and it looks like as many as seven others will depart from the squad this summer.

The likely leavers include EMMANUEL EBOUE , who has failed to oust Bacary Sagna from the right-back role.

Midfield man DENILSON has already voiced his frustration at his failure to play first-team football on a regular basis.

GAEL CLICHY has, like Samir Nasri, just one year left on his contract and the club will not allow the deal to expire and give Clichy a free. Inter-Milan are watching developments and Wenger has a ready-made replacement in Kieron Gibbs.

TOMAS ROSICKY may also be on the move, probably to Germany – and he will be joined by NICKLAS BENDTNER.

The Danish striker has failed to make an impact, and is well down the pecking order in Wenger’s opinion.

Bayern Munich have been linked with a £12m move for the 23-year-old.

CARLOS VELA is a target for West Bromwich Albion after a successful loan spell at the Hawthorns.

MANUEL ALMUNIA is set for a return to Spain after he was ousted from the first-team goalkeeper spot by Wojciech Szczesny.
