Two strikers, the “new Thierry Henry” and a Russian. The two are today’s players linked with a possible move to Arsenal.

According to Mirror Football, St. Etienne striker Emmanuel Riviere is “flattered” to be linked with such a prestigious club like Arsenal and to be monitored by a great manager like Arsene Wenger. Liverpool are reportedly also interested in the 21-year old Frenchman who has a contract with St Etienne until 2014.

In other news, the Transfer Tavern believes that Arsene Wenger is keeping an eye on 28-year old Aleksandr Kerzhakov, of Russia. The Zenit St. Petersburg man – according to the article – could re-join old team-mate Andrey Arshavin at Arsenal with unsettled Brasilian midfielder Denilson moving in the opposite direction.
