One for the defensive department and one for the offensive department as two very good players are today’s names linked with a possible move to Arsenal.

We start with something that is more than just a rumour as talkSport published an interview this morning in which Porto’s Falcao admitted that leaving Porto is a possibility and that Real Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham are all possible destination. The 25-year old was one of the most prolific strikers in Europe this season, scoring 15 goals in 17 games in the Europa League.

In other news, Goal.com reports that Blackburn’s Chris Samba and Bolton’s Gary Cahill are still being monitored by the Gunners after we failed to land Phil Jones who joined Manchester United. The Englishman was linked last summer as well and is, according to Paul Merson and Ray Parlour, a player Arsene Wenger should sign this summer.

And before moving on to today’s poll, a look at yesterday’s results in which we collected more than 1,500 votes. A lot of positive nods, 700, for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Willian but mixed feelings for Birmingham City’s Scott Dann.
