Two players who have been linked with a possible move to Arsenal in the past are back in the headlines, a strong defender and a creative French striker.

According to Eurosport France (in French), Paris Saint-Germain’s Mamadou Sakho joins Christopher Samba as a possible target for the defensive department. Even if only 21, the centre back possesses amazing strength and his talent was identified by France’s Laurent Blanc as well, calling him for France’s friendly match against Norway last year.

In other news, Metro reports that Gael Clichy could be on his way to Italian side AS Roma with Jérémy Menez included in a parts exchange deal which would bring the 24-year old to the Emirates.

Usually inconsistent, Menez would however have very little trouble to settle down at Arsenal, not only for the language, but also for his fantastic skills on the ball, very quick and very composed whenever on in possession.
