Ivory Coast can take a huge step towards the Africa Cup of Nations with a victory against Benin this weekend - and Emmanuel Eboue believes his team has an extra reason to go for glory.
The Arsenal player's homeland has been hit by violence and unrest since former president Laurent Gbagbo refused to cede power to Alassane Ouattara following a recent election.
Eboue and his team-mates were forced to move one of their qualifying matches from Abidjan to Accra as a result and the 27-year-old admits it has been difficult to watch events unfolding in his country.
In an exclusive interview on Arsenal TV Online he discussed:
the recent unrest in Ivory Coast
how it has affected him
having to play 'home' games away from Abidjan
Ivory Coast's campaign so far
his goal against Rwanda
why early goals are key in Africa
the quality of the Ivory Coast team
