Bendtner tells Copenhagen to take him home

The Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been quite vocal in his wish to leave the Emirates this summer, and Arsene Wenger has agreed if the Dane can find a club to take him for the right price.
But with the lack of offers, Bendtner has indicated that he would like to return home to play for Copenhagen, who he supported as a boy.
He said today: “I have a dream to play for FC Copenhagen. “When I one day return back home to play football in Denmark, it will be for the Lions,”
“I have always wanted to play for FCK, ever since I was a child.
“But I left the club for Arsenal when I was sixteen and have therefore never tried it.
“FCK is my club – no doubt about it.”
Bendtner has rarely been given a chance in the Arsenal first team, in fact he only made three starts in the Premiership and was only used regularly for the second string games.
He failed to impress when he was given the chance by Arsene Wenger, but he promises his Danish fans that if he returned home he would not play as badly as he did this year.
“I can promise that there wont be another season like this one,”.
“I can promise that this will be a lot better.”
So what should Arsenal fans read into this? Is he desperate to leave Arsenal or what? Even to the Danish League? Perhaps he wants to be close to his new baby after seperating from his girlfriend Caroline Fleming two weeks after she had his child?
